Working with Account Statement Template Merge Fields (Admin)

Modified on Mon, 3 Jun at 1:32 PM

When creating your account statement email and document templates, you can use merge fields to add variable information (or information that changes) to the correspondence. For example, your account statements should include names, dates, and amounts, and this information should be current at the time you generate the document or email message.

TIP: For more information on setting up templates and using merge fields, see these help articles: Document Templates, Merge Fields.

To access the merge field list:

  1. In Actionstep, go to Admin and click Document assembly. The Document assembly page appears.
  2. Click Manage for the Merge field list item. The Merge Field List page appears.
  3. Click the Filter drop-down list. The List Filters window appears.
  4. Click the Data Source drop-down list and choose Debtor Statement or Debtor Statement Item.
  5.  Click Submit. The Merge Field List is updated with the merge fields available for that data source.
