Viewing Your Timesheet

You can access and review your timesheet in Actionstep. When reviewing your timesheet, you can review individual time entries or you can review a summary.




Reviewing Individual Time Entries

To review your individual time entries, click the Timesheet menu in the main menu bar and choose Today from the list of options that appears. The Timesheet page appears:

  1. Use the calendar tool and Go to today button to navigate to a specific date, including today's date. 
  2. Use the arrow icons to move through more recent dates.
  3. Use the contact name drop-down list to choose whose timesheet you want to review.
  4. View the high-level details time entered for a specific matter.  
  5. Click Suggestions to view opportunities for recording time you may have missed. (This option displays a record of the different times you interacted with a specific matter and gives you the option to create a new time record.)
  6. Click Edit to make changes to a time entry, or click Delete to delete the time entry.




Viewing a Timesheet Summary

To view a Timesheet Summary, click the Timesheet menu in the main menu bar and choose Summary from the list of options that appears. The Time Record Summary List page appears.

  1. Use this date filter to view time entries for a specific month. 
  2. Use the Hours filter to update the list based on hours worked and billable/nonbillable hours.
  3. Use the Filter to view other specific details like matter ID, specific dates, participant types, active vs. inactive users, and so forth.
  4. Click the refresh icon to refresh the list with the latest data from Actionstep (in case others have made changes to their timesheets while you've been viewing this list).
  5. Summaries are grouped by weeks in the selected month.
