LawPay is a payment processing platform built specifically to help law firms collect fees securely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legal and trust-accounting regulations.
When you set up a LawPay integration, you'll see the following:
- Pay Now Link: When you send a bill to your client, the email includes a convenient Pay Now link. You can also add this link to your invoice documents.
- Secure Payment: Clients can click the link and securely enter their credit card details through LawPay's trusted platform. They can even save their information for future payments.
- Automatic Payment Recording: The LawPay integration automatically creates a transaction record in Actionstep, simplifying the payment process for your clients and increasing the likelihood of prompt payment. However, you will still need to manually enter transactions into Actionstep.
To get started using LawPay:
- Sign up for LawPay
- Submit a support ticket to get set up with the law pay integration
NOTE: Please note the following considerations for using this integration:
• Refunds and Voids: Any refunds or voided transactions processed directly through LawPay will not be reflected in Actionstep.
• Credit Card Storage: LawPay securely stores all credit card information. Actionstep does not have access to your clients' full credit card details
