You can revoke a user's access to the Client Portal.
To do this:
- In Practice Management, view the matter you want to revoke access to the Client Portal for. (See Editing a Matter for help.)
- Click the Portal menu icon. The Client Portal is displayed.
- In the Portal Parties list, select the user you want to revoke access for.
- Clear the Portal Access checkbox.
- Click Save. Access to the portal is revoked and the user is notified via an email.
CAUTION: You cannot close a matter if the Client Portal is still enabled for a user. If you attempt to close a matter with portal access still enabled for any user, you will receive a message indicating that there is a portal user associated with the matter. Therefore, before closing a matter, make sure to revoke portal access for all relevant users.
