Reviewing Supplier Invoice Data Permissions (Admin)

NOTE: The information in this article applies to Actionstep Practice Pro + Accounting plan users, which includes built-in accounting options. If you do not have access to this product and you are interested in learning more, please contact Actionstep.

 In Actionstep, an admin has the ability to control which of your users can view, edit, delete, unlock, and lock supplier invoices.


To set these permissions:

  1. In Actionstep, an admin can go to Admin > Users & permissions. The Users & Permissions page appears.
  2. Click Data permissions (located on the right side of the page). The Permissions page appears.
  3. Click the System Role drop-down list and choose the specific role you want to change.
  4. Click the System Object and choose Accounting - Sale/Purchase Object.
  5. In the list of permissions, find any of the following and set your preferences:
    • can_view_Supplier_Invoice 
    • can_edit_Supplier_Invoice
    • can_delete_Supplier_Invoice
    • can_unlock_Supplier_Invoice
    • can_lock_Supplier_Invoice
  6. Click Save to save and apply the permissions you've selected.
